Havoc Mid

The Havoc Mid is a mid-top hiking shoe with a large open mesh window in each side panel. The padded collar sits above the ankle bone, and the mesh carries on across the tongue and around the collar.

Materials and build

Suede panels carry the wear, with open mesh in the side window, at the tongue and around the collar. Moulded TPU overlays form a triangle cage over the midfoot and a bumper over the toe. Under that is a rubber outsole with deep multi-directional lugs on a thick sculpted midsole, and a PU insole inside. Metal D-rings run up the lacing, with a lace loop at the collar and a pull loop at the heel. There is no metal toe cap.

Fit and sizing

Men's sizes, EU 39 to 47. Use the RAX size guide on this page to convert to US, CHN or centimetres. The cut is mid-top with a padded collar.

Terrain and use

Hiking and trekking on uneven ground. The mesh is open weave, not a backed membrane, so water passes through it. This is not a waterproof shoe. In wet or cold conditions one of our waterproof boots is the better choice.

Care

Knock the dirt off the outsole after a walk. Brush the suede with a soft dry brush and rinse the mesh with clean water. Let them dry away from direct heat, and keep them out of the washing machine.
